Crowdfunding

Step One: Calculate your goal
A goal of $7,000 would cover the full cost of your Obi including taxes and shipping, the 8% GoFundMe service fee and gives you about $300 to spend on switches.

Step Two: Generate Buzz
Give your campaign a compelling title, such as “Help my child get an Obi robot!”

Step Three: Get Visual
Add photos or a video to help tell your story. To show others what Obi is all about, you can add our inspirational video by copying and pasting this link:
youtu.be/H6zYQGb3I-0. If you participated in an in-home or healthcare facility trial, photos and videos of the demonstration would be great things to share!

Step Four: Write a Story
Tell people about your loved one, why you are looking to purchase Obi and how life-changing it would be to have one!

Step Five: Share Your Page
Invite your contacts to view your page – as many as you can! Then, share your page on social media. Encourage your friends and family to share it too! This your most important step – the more people who see your page, the more likely you are to hit your goal.

Luca’s Success Story
We met Luca traveling to one of our favorite tradeshows, the annual Arthrogryposis convention through AMCSI. He and his family instantly fell in love with Obi. His family setup a GoFundMe page and within 14 hours, they reached their entire goal!!
