Our red utensils are designed to support individuals with visual impairments by improving contrast, visibility, and ease of use. They are fully compatible with all Obi 3 devices, and can also be used by individuals without visual impairments.

A Common Need: An estimated 50–70% of individuals with Cerebral Palsy experience visual impairment

High-Contrast: Red is known to enhance visual target detection, helping our visually impaired users more easily locate the spoon.

Encourages Eating: Red is a stimulating color often associated with appetite and increased eating interest.

Material: Durable, repeat food contact grade copolyester (FDA & EFSA compliant, NSF/ANSI/CAN Std 51 & 61 certified, BPA & BPS free). Dishwasher safe, microwave & freezer safe.

Please note: This utensil is only compatible with Obi Generation 3 devices and will not work with Generation 1 or 2 devices. Generation 3 devices are devices purchased after mid-August 2025.
